Ten years ago when we moved to Sydney, Australia we couldn't have imagined that God would call us to church planting. We were attending Bible College when we met and at the time, we were simply passionate about the Church and sowing our lives into it to make a difference.

Well, a lot of things may have changed in the last decade but we are still as passionate as ever about the Church. The vision to plant a fresh, vibrant church in Toronto was birthed in our hearts several years ago and today the beginning of Vantage Church is upon us. We are so excited to be here and to see this incredible journey unfold. We appreciate you coming to find out more about us and pray that we would have the opportunity to meet you soon.

Damian and Julie Bassett have been in ministry at Hillsong Church, Australia for the past 10 years. With the love and support of their Sydney church home, they moved to Julie's hometown of Toronto in February, 2009. They have been married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful girls, Jaelin and Mackenzie.
