When we can pass through dark times without fear; because we have been given the grace of God. Not only can we get through the darkness, but we can be a light; a beacon to others who may need help to find their way out of the Enemy's grasp. I also believe that it's absolutely necessary for a new church to be challenged this way. It strenthens us for the things to come. It allows us to be amplifiers for Christ. How we react to adversity is a testament to the power of God. Through the authority of Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit as our guide, all things are possible for Vantage Church. Alone, we are weak in the presence of darkness, but together we lift one another up and help each other to persevere. May Almighty God bring His favour and blessings ever more upon all of my Vantage Church family, past, present and future. Trust in Jesus, church, he makes all things new. God is working in the world right now to let us know that we can't continue to look at social justice in the same way we have been in the past. He wants us to search our souls and see each other as absolute equals, giving value to all human life, regardless of its origin or difference from our own. We need to begin seeing each other as family. God's family. Brothers and sisters all. Struggling through life on this planet together, with everything in common; as opposed to how we are separated. We need to remember our basic beliefs and follow them. We all ask "what can I do? I'm just one person." but we forget that Christ was one person, and He changed everything. He makes all things new. I am part of a local church here in Brazil, we started with 8 members, reading your post that I remember clearly how were the early days of our church, today we are a church 2 thousand members, it's good to look back and see God's hand upon us during this time.
